Tenant Deployment, Licensing, Authentication, and Configuration

After all necessary contracts are in place, Schneider Electric deploys your tenant with the initial license counts that you requested, and give you installation and configuration instructions.

IMPORTANT: A handy tool that we created, called the ArcFM Connectivity Evaluator tool (ACE tool), helps test and verify connectivity to ArcFM services and Azure Service Bus. Running this tool is necessary for anything configurable to work properly.

License usage is tracked on production environments only. As your users install and begin using the ArcFM XI series apps, their usage is tracked. Any over or under license usage is updated accordingly at the time of renewal.

Our XI series apps are built on ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS). Editor XI is built on ArcGIS Pro, along with DHFC with ArcGIS Pro. We highly recommend Portal for ArcGIS as your authentication method since it enables secure single sign-on (SSO) access to the Portal for ArcGIS-federated feature services. Some ArcFM XI series apps, such as ArcFM Mobile, only support Portal for ArcGIS-based authentication. SSO capabilities can utilize your existing Active Directory setup to authenticate users.
