Welcome to the XI Series!

Overview

Schneider Electric and the Environmental Sciences Research Institute, better known as Esri {ezz’-ree}, partnered together decades ago to offer utility and telecom companies worldwide a unique and specialized solution for managing, modeling, and editing facility and landbase data. Esri’s ArcGIS solution for utilities lets us build the ArcFM solution on a powerful collection of GIS tools. ArcFM XI can be considered an ecosystem of purpose-built GIS applications supported by a microservices-based cloud environment that integrates with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise & Runtime technology. Rather than requiring adoption of new ways to host geospatial data, the XI series leverages existing implementations of Esri geospatial services to offer enhanced functionality focused on utilities to support their use of GIS data.

The ArcFM XI series is brought to you by the GIS Line of Business within the Digital Grid business of Schneider Electric. Digital Grid is a global business, thereby making ArcFM XI available currently to customers in North America, Europe-Middle East-Africa, and Asia Pacific regions, with the ability to keep their cloud-hosted data stored in a region-specific Azure data center.

The Schneider Electric ArcFM software suite leverages a GIS platform to help utility companies increase productivity, lower costs, and improve services by creating a platform that lets you effectively manage spatial and non-spatial information for design and maintenance.
