Connect the Signal Cables for Easy UPS 3S Pro

NOTE: Route the signal cables separately from the power cables.

NOTE: The illustrations in this procedure show a bottom cable entry system. The procedure is the same for a top cable entry system.

Install the temperature sensor from the optional installation kit E3SOPT003.

WARNING
Hazard of fire Position the temperature sensor as described to ensure correct temperature measurements. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

NOTE: The length of the temperature sensor cable is 5.8 meter.

Route the battery temperature sensor cables through the top or the bottom of the empty battery cabinet to the UPS dry contact terminal J4–1 and J4–2 and connect as shown.

Route the signal cables through the top or bottom of the empty battery cabinet to the battery circuit breaker.
Remove the cover from the battery circuit breaker.

Connect the signal cables:
1. Connect the Aux switch signal cables from empty battery cabinet to J3-3 and J3-4. Configure J3-3 (input dry contact 2) as BB status by the display or Tuner.

2. Connect the shunt trip coil signal cables from the empty battery cabinet to J3–1 and J3–2 in the UPS.
Reinstall the cover on the battery circuit breaker.
