Description

The circuit breaker connected to the IFE interface is automatically detected. Click Apply to add it in the device list.

IP Address

Displays the device IP address.

Gateway

Indicates if the IP device is a gateway or not.

NOTE: Gateway check box is always cleared for IFE interface.

Address

Displays the Modbus address of the IFE interface.

NOTE: The Address text box is unavailable to edit.

Name

Allows you to enter the name for IFE interface.

NOTE:
  • The LV breaker system is uniquely identified over possible interfaces such as HMI, Modbus/TCP, DPWS, and DHCP.

  • IFE device name is common across all interfaces. Thus, changing IFE device name by any means has direct impact on all the connected interfaces.

The IFE device name can have up to 63 ASCII characters with the following characters: A–Z, a–z, 0–9, and -. However, - cannot be used at the end of the name.

NOTE:
  • IFE device name should be unique within the device list.

  • Duplicate device names for different devices may have impact on web applications, logging, and export features.

Connection

Displays the connection type (ULP).

NOTE: The Connection field is unavailable to edit.

ULP port

Device Type

Automatically displays the device type discovered on the ULP system.

NOTE: The Device Type field is auto-detected and it is unavailable to edit.

Device Name

Allows you to enter the name for the discovered devices.

The device name can have up to:

  • 63 ASCII characters for MasterPacT MTZ devices

  • 45 ASCII characters for other devices

The allowed characters are: A–Z, a–z, 0–9, and -. However, - cannot be used at the end of the name.

Slave ID

Displays the local address of the device connected to the IFE interface.

Allows you to save device list configuration.

Delete

This operation is not available.

Allows you to edit the device name.
