Wiring diagrams

The following diagrams illustrate typical wiring conventions for the electrical service types supported by the different ION8650 meter form factors.

After completing all electrical wiring, mounting and installation steps, refer to “Step 10: Use phasor diagrams to verify wiring” for details on meter operation for different systems and volts modes, as well as verification of correct phase wiring.

Form 9 (3-element)

Set the meter’s Volts Mode to 9S - 4 Wire Wye/Delta. Voltage measurement limit is 57 to 277 VLN.
