Configure Data

Both circuit and splice schematics require the SCHEMATICEXPORTATTRIBUTE model name be assigned in the geodatabase to identify necessary attributes. If you're performing both optional configurations (for splice and circuit schematics), you only need to complete this process once.

TIP: Data is displayed using the ArcFM Primary Display Field. The Primary Display Field is set on the Field Display tab of the ArcFM Properties Manager.

For the classic fiber features, assign this model name as shown below. If you want additional attributes in your schematics, you will need to assign the SCHEMATICEXPORTATTRIBUTE model name to those attributes as well.

IMPORTANT: When you assign the SCHEMATICEXPORTATTRIBUTE model name to a new field, you will need to edit the field's storage mode in ArcCatalog's Schematics Dataset Editor.
