Microgrid Feasibility Study: The first step in determining if a new or existing site can support a microgrid. It includes load analysis, size onsite generation and storage assets and preliminary pricing and financial services.

Microgrid Front End Engineering Design: A detailed design to get more accurate pricing, layout, and implementation plan.

Microgrid Complete Design Package: 100% design package including Schneider Electric serving as the Engineer of Record. Designed for optimal system operation and total cost of ownership.

Startup Services
Schneider Electric field service technician(s) will perform visual, mechanical, and electrical tests on the switchboard. Schneider Electric provides a 12-month warranty extension to equipment that is successfully tested and started-up by Schneider Electric.

Recurring Service Plans
Schneider Electric has three standard service packages to choose from for Flex.

Essential—Essential Service Plan is required for all EcoStruxure Microgrid Flex projects. It includes Remote Troubleshooting and Diagnostics by microgrid engineers.

Advanced and Plus Advanced—Advanced and Plus Advanced are the recommended service plan packages for all projects. They are for three years of coverage. They can be added on via the selector at the same time as the initial purchase of EcoStruxure Microgrid Flex or added in the future.
Service Plans start as soon as the system is operational.
A service plan is more than a warranty because it includes proactive, fast, system-level support by specialists.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Fast and effective troubleshooting starts by having a si ngle point of contact that you can reach directly by phone or email that understands the system. Microgrid Support Engineers in our Connected Services Hub will remotely provide quick response time, troubleshoot, and dispatch correct resources to the site (if needed).

All onsite labor and travel are covered for emergency and other non-preventative maintenance work providing extended warranty coverage.

2. Parts

Repair Parts: With a service plan that includes preventative maintenance, you can have all replacement parts used for remedial repairs covered by Schneider Electric. You will not have to pay any extra costs to fix equipment and restore full operations.

Spare Parts: Spare parts are field installable components or parts for any new and existing equipment.
3. On-site Maintenance

Sequence of Operations Test: Ensures islanding capability is functional and meets operational intent. The Schneider Electric engineer onsite runs the microgrid system through its programmed sequence of operations, which includes a report outlining results and recommendations.

Preventative Maintenance: Having a strategy of planned preventative maintenance mitigates unplanned downtime.

Annual Energized Diagnostic: Provides early warning signs of equipment failure without interrupting operations. It includes infrared scanning, transformer oil sampling, and visual inspections.

De-Energized Maintenance: Completed once every three years, these services provide comprehensive maintenance in support of your facilities schedule, this includes overcurrent protective device testing, cleaning, and lubrication to meet specification and electrical testing including insulation and current path.
