Scope

	Single current sensor ground fault systems like (but not restricted to) source ground return (see Figure 1) and VigiPacT™ residual current protection relays (see Figure 2).

Purpose:	To verify the functionality of a single current sensor ground fault system. The focus is to make sure the system is working, not to pass/fail the system on pickup accuracy, delay accuracy, or metering accuracy as there are too many variables with the power supply, test setup, etc.
Recommendation:	A simple and advance test method is provided below. The simple method is recommended for basic system functionality.
