Search
Located in the upper right portion of your browser, the search bar in Wavepoint is the primary way to navigate your network. You can use it in two ways:
-
Address Search: You can type all or part of an address and click the Search as Address
button.
-
Search for Specific Features: The Search field also queries the primary display field for all fiber feature classes belonging to the layers configured for Wavepoint .
TIP: To the left of the search field is a Layers drop-down, which allows you to pre-filter your search for only certain kinds of fiber facilities (the following image is just an example, and your layers likely differ depending on your map).
The Search field refines the list of results as you type and groups the results by feature class. Click the fiber feature in the Search results to open detailed information and graphical views of the result.
When searching for Active Devices, Devices, and Passive Devices (all of which are related object tables), the feature to which they are related is also returned in the search results.
