-
Install the power supply and controller according to the related instruction bulletins.
Mounting the controller in the top three pole spaces and the power supply in the bottom three pole spaces of the panelboard is recommended.
-
Plug each end of the controller cable into the mating connectors (A) of the controller and power supply.
- Route the controller cable (B) along the line side of the circuit breakers on the left side of the panelboard, allowing any extra cable length to loop into the bottom of the panelboard.
- Use the wire tie assemblies (C) to attach the cable to the black
phase barrier (D) [located on the left interior of the panelboard]
as follows:
NOTE: Column-width Controller Cable Connection suggests approximate locations for mounting the wire tie assemblies.
-
Remove each adhesive mount’s back strip, exposing the adhesive.
-
Place the adhesive mounts on the circuit breaker side (near the front edge) of the phase barrier, spacing them evenly along the panelboard.
-
Insert the wire ties through the adhesive mounts, as shown in Attaching Controller Cable with Wire Ties.
-
Secure the controller cable with each wire tie.
