Locking the Safety Shutters

Description

The safety shutters can be locked in closed position so that the moving part of a EasyPact MVS2 device cannot be connected in its chassis.

The top and bottom safety shutters on EasyPact MVS2 devices can be locked independently or together.

Shutter Locking Blocks

The shutter locking blocks allow the locking of the safety shutters inside the chassis. Two shutter locking blocks are delivered with each EasyPact MVS2 chassis as standard, and can be stored in the chassis.

Using Shutter Locking Blocks

Step	Action
1	Remove the shutter locking blocks stored in the chassis.
2	Place the shutter locking blocks in the appropriate guides: To lock the top safety shutter, install a shutter locking block on the shutter mechanism on the left. To lock the bottom safety shutter, install a shutter locking block on the shutter mechanism on the right.
3	Insert a padlock in each shutter locking block tab and close the padlock.
