ELKO - Smart Smoke Alarm Battery

The Smart Smoke Alarm Battery (smoke alarm) uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke generated by fire. It also includes a temperature sensor that detects heat caused by rapid increase in temperature. When connected to the system the device sends the notifications via the Wiser app.

Using the Wiser Home app, pair your smoke alarm with the Wiser Hub.

The Control Panel of the smoke alarm allows you to view the current state of the smoke alarm and allow you to access the history and settings.

Using the Wiser Home app, you can remove the smoke alarm from the Wiser system.

A monthly inspection is recommended to help ensure the smoke alarm is dust, dirt, and insect free. The smoke alarm can be vacuumed (strongly recommended) or brushed with a soft brush to remove accumulated dust, dirt or kitchen grease. Apply a small amount of insect surface spray to a cloth and wipe around smoke alarm(s) every 3 to 6 months to mitigate insect ingress.
