Installation information: contains UL information, use only for installation sheets. Include heading. Copy the entire section.

FCC: Add FCC as a section in your notices topic, and enter FCC as the title. Copy sectiondiv for Class A OR Class B. Copy the sectiondiv for the intentional radiator statement (no new heading) IF device is a transmitter (for example, a wireless device). Copy the sectiondiv for FCC part 68 IF the device has a modem (no new heading).

Industry Canada: Add Industry Canada as a section and enter Industry Canada as the title. Copy the sectiondiv for the English IF the document will be published in English AND French; if not, you must also copy the sectiondiv for the French, to include it in the English user manual.

Installation information
This product must be installed, connected and used in compliance with prevailing standards and/or installation regulations.
If this product is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the product may be impaired.
The safety of any system incorporating this product is the responsibility of the assembler/installer of the system.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.

This device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for general population. This device must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules and the requirements adopted by the Administrative Council for Terminal Attachments (ACTA). On the side of this equipment is a label that contains, among other information, a product identifier in the format US: AAAEQ##TXXXX. If requested, this number must be provided to the telephone company.
This equipment uses the following Universal Service Order Codes (“USOC”) jacks: RJ11.
A plug and jack used to connect this equipment to the premises wiring and telephone network must comply with the applicable FCC Part 68 rules and requirements adopted by the ACTA. A compliant telephone cord and modular plug or compliant modular jack is provided with this product.
The REN is used to determine the number of devices that may be connected to a telephone line. Excessive RENs on a telephone line may result in the devices not ringing in response to an incoming call. In most but not all areas, the sum of RENs should not exceed five (5.0). To be certain of the number of devices that may be connected to a line, as determined by the total RENs, contact the local telephone company. The REN for this product is part of the product identifier that has the format US: AAAEQ##TXXXX. The digits represented by ## are the REN without a decimal point (e.g., 03 is a REN of 0.3).
If this equipment, Digital Power Meter with Internal Modem, causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify you in advance that service may be temporarily discontinued. When advance notice is not practical, the telephone company will notify you as soon as possible. You will also be advised of your right to file a complaint with the FCC if you believe it is necessary.
The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations or procedures that could affect the operation of this equipment. If this happens, the telephone company will provide advance notice in order for you to make necessary modifications to maintain uninterrupted service.
If you experience trouble with this equipment, Digital Power Meter with Internal Modem, please contact Schneider ElectricSiemens Industry at 615-287-3400. If this equipment is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone company may request that you disconnect this equipment until the problem is resolved.
There are no user serviceable parts in this equipment.
Connection to party line service is subject to state tariffs. Contact the state public utility commission, public service commission or corporation commission for information.
If your premises has specially wired alarm equipment connected to the telephone line, ensure that the installation of this Digital Power Meter with Internal Modem does not disable your alarm equipment. If you have questions about what will disable alarm equipment, consult your telephone company or a qualified installer.
Industry Canada
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should not be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.
This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

Network compatibility notice for the internal modem
The internal modem in meters equipped with this option is compatible with the telephone systems of most countries in the world, with the exception of Australia and New Zealand. Use in some countries may require modification of the internal modem’s initialization strings. If problems using the modem on your phone system occur, please contact Schneider ElectricSiemens Industry Technical Support.
