Indoor units must be stored in an environment that does
not exceed the defined environmental parameters for storage.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

PremSet switchgear should be stored in an indoor climate-controlled space until time of installation. The switchgear is not intended for exposure to high humidity, damaging fumes, steam, salt air, oil vapors, excessive dust, abrasive dust, magnetic or metallic dust, abnormal vibration, shocks, tilting while in storage. Such conditions constitute unusual conditions for service and should also be avoided for storage. Successful performance of standard switchgear applied in unusual environments may require special considerations in developing equipment specifications.
If the equipment is not installed immediately after delivery, it can be stored indoors in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area with a mean temperature of approximately 70°F (21°C).
Monitor the equipment closely in areas with high humidity. If necessary, use a minimum of 100 watts of heat per vertical section to keep the equipment dry during storage. Avoid greasy, smoky heaters that can deposit carbon on insulation, causing tracking and eventual insulation breakdowns.
