Patch Panel Connection Report

A patch panel connection report is a graphical display of the layout of a patch location, rack, patch panel, device, or all the above. This section describes the steps used in creating a Patch Panel Connection Report.

Click the Patch Panel Connection Report button on the Fiber Manager toolbar.
Use the flag cursor to click a patch location on the map.
In the Select Report Item dialog, choose which level you want to generate the report for. You can pick any level “higher” than the ports. In the following image, the user is requesting the report for the entire rack.
Click Select.
Notice the report opens in a browser.
- The top half of the report is interactive. Hover over any port to view what is connected there.
- The bottom half of the report is static. It displays all the connections in a table.
TIP: Reports are saved in C:/users/username/documents/ArcFM Solution/Fiber Manager.
