Install the IP40 Front Protection on the UPS

The UPS must be turned completely OFF before performing
this procedure.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

- Open the front door of the UPS.
- Remove the supporting brackets on the front door. Save
the M4 screws for reuse.
- Remove the M4 screws on the left side of the fan cover
and the battery compartment cover. Save the M4 screws for reuse.
- Cut the cable tie on the front door.
- Take out the silicone strips from the IP40 kit and peel
off the protective films from the silicone strips. Attach the silicone
strips on the UPS in the indicated position with the reused M4 screws.
- Remove the existing air filter from the UPS.
- Install the new air filter on the UPS.
- Fix the new air filter on the UPS with the reused M4 screws.
- Ensure that the silicone strips are pressed under the air filter.
- Install the small bracket.
- Remove the screws next to the front door display cover. Save the M4 screws for reuse.
- Install the small bracket on the UPS with the reused M4 screws.
- Close the front door.
