Introduction

Square D™ brand SureSeT™ medium voltage metal-clad indoor switchgear offers Square D™ brand EvoPacT™ draw-out vacuum circuit breakers in semi-assembled two-high construction for 5/15 kV power distribution. Individual circuit breaker and auxiliary cradle EvoPacT components are also available. This user guide contains overall description and instructions for integrating SureSeT Semi-Assembled switchgear and EvoPacT components into original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and customer products. Refer to other documents for further descriptions and instructions on receiving, handling, storing, installing, operating, and maintaining the equipment. The SureSeT metal-clad switchgear detailed information is in document NNZ9886800 SureSeT Medium Voltage, Metal-Clad, Indoor Switchgear User Guide. SureSeT Semi-Assembled switchgear contains these design features:

• One-high and two-high construction, with circuit breakers on the top and/or bottom.

• Individually-grounded, compartmentalized, steel structures.

• Each compartment has doors, barriers, covers, and/or removable access panels/plates to isolate the separate working functions.

• All circuit breakers, instrument transformers, and control power transformers, are factory-assembled, wired, and tested as an assembly.

The EvoPacT circuit breaker cradle component contains these design features:

• Self-supporting circuit breaker compartment which can be mounted in partner switchgear to integrate an EvoPacT circuit breaker.

The EvoPacT auxiliary cradle component contains these design features:

• Sub-assemblies which can be mounted in partner switchgear to integrate EvoPacT control power transformer (CPT) and voltage transformer (VT) auxiliary drawers.
