Inbound Message Integrations

External applications can launch ArcFM Mobile  or activate an existing instance using Uniform Resource Identifier messages. Optionally, the app can be instructed to zoom to specific locations, display work location (WL) information, and open as-builting jobs (which may display a Designer XI  design, if it exists).

TIP: Uniform Resource Locator (URLs) and Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs) differ slightly in that a URL identifies a web resource only by its location, while a URI identifies a web resource using its name, location, or both. The typical format of a URI is 

scheme://host:[port]path[?query]

A common example of a URL is https://www.google.com/search?q=arcfm. In this URL, the scheme is https, the host is www.google.com , the path is /search, and the ?query is arcfm.
