Wavepoint Configuration Overview

Before You Begin

Ensure the computer you are using as the server has adequate hardware for the task. Only 64-bit environments are supported.

IMPORTANT: You must have valid licenses to configure and run Wavepoint. For a full list of supported versions and required licenses, visit the myArcFM page Wavepoint Supported - Versions.

Choose Hardware Structure

There are four components to Wavepoint:

The geodatabase, which is the source of data for a published web service
ArcMap/ArcFM to manage the underlying data and publish the web service
ArcGIS server to manage access to the service once published
The Wavepoint web application

You can choose between two supported hardware structures to host each of these four components:

On a single machine
Separately on multiple machines

Client Machines Requirements

The client machines must run one of the following supported web browsers:

Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Internet Explorer 9 and above
