Performance Considerations

Install the Wavepoint Web Application

The installer, which should be run on the server machine, provides the Wavepoint web application.

Visit the myArcFM Product Downloads page to locate the installer.
Download the installer onto the server machine.
Execute the installer.
After the installation process finishes, navigate to the folder C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Wavepoint. This folder contains the application files, including the Web.config that can be modified to meet your company’s preferences.
The installation also creates an Application Pool in Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. To confirm that the Application Pool has started:
1. Open IIS Manager. The easiest way is to search for IIS in the Start menu on the server machine.
2. In the Connections pane on the left-hand side, click the down arrow by the server machine name.
3. In the Connections pane, click Application Pools.
4. Confirm you see the Wavepoint Application Pool and that it has started.
