Install the Seismic Anchoring and Position the Cabinets

Reuse the transportation brackets that were on the cabinets when they were on the pallets. Parts and hardware are provided in installation kits TME71599 and TME67411 delivered in the I/O cabinet.
  1. Interconnect the four rear anchoring brackets from the UPSs and the rear anchoring bracket from the I/O cabinet with the provided interconnection plates and fours screws each as shown.

  2. Mount the rear anchoring assembly to the floor in the final installation position. Use appropriate hardware for the floor type – the hole diameter in the rear anchors is ø16 mm. Minimum requirement is M12 strength grade 8.8 hardware.
    NOTE: The cabinets of the UPS system extend farther than the rear anchoring assembly, so there must be a ≥200 mm (≥7.87 in) rear clearance from the rear anchoring assembly to anything behind the UPS system.

  3. Remove all the screws, the interconnection plates, and the rear anchoring brackets.

  4. Install the rear anchoring brackets on the UPSs and the I/O cabinet with the provided M8x25 bolts.

  5. Push the I/O cabinet into final position and align with the rear seismic anchoring.

  6. Push the UPS 1-4 into final position and align with the rear seismic anchoring.
