Opening Masterpact MTZ Devices
Conditions Required to Open
To open the device, the device must be closed (I).
Opening the Masterpact MTZ1 Mechanism
The device can be opened in the following ways in all control modes:

Undervoltage release (MN), with or without MN delay unit |
The undervoltage release (MN) opens the device automatically in the case of voltage drop. |

Press the external pushbutton which is connected to the shunt trip (MN) or to the undervoltage release (MN) via the customer terminal block. When the undervoltage release (MN) is connected to the MN delay unit, the device opens with the corresponding time delay. |

Opening the Masterpact MTZ1 Mechanism in Auto Control Mode
In addition, the device can be opened in the following ways when Auto control mode is configured.

Do not allow any person to work on the electrical network
without physically validating the successful execution of the local
or remote software actions for opening the circuit breaker or switching
off the electrical circuit.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
