Pairing the device

Using the Wiser Home app, pair your device with the Wiser Hub.
IMPORTANT: Do not mount the device before pairing. The Setup/Reset button and power switch are located on the rear side of the device.
NOTE: When multiple smoke alarms are paired with the same Wiser Hub, an 868 MHz radio frequency (RF) interconnection is automatically created between smoke alarms.
  1. Locate the power switch on the rear side of the device. Use a screwdriver to turn the power switch to ON position.

    NOTE: When the device is mounted on a wall or on the ceiling, the power switch is automatically turned ON.
  2. On the Home page, tap .
  3. Tap Devices > > Safety and Security.
  4. Tap Smoke Alarm > Next.
    The next screen shows the progress of the pairing.
  5. Short press the Setup/Reset button 3 times.

    The LED blinks yellow.
    After a few seconds, a solid green LED indicates that the device is successfully paired and the app shows that the device has joined.

  6. Tap Next to assign a name to the device.
  7. Tap Next to assign a device location and then tap Submit.
    The device is now listed under the All devices or room tab.
NOTE: To add a Wiser Hub and a Wiser Smoke alarm to an existing FireTek alarm network, the wireless interconnection must be reconfigured.
Pair the Wiser Smoke Alarm with the Wiser Hub first, and then pair the standalone smoke alarms with the Wiser Smoke Alarms.
After reconfiguration, conduct an interconnection test on all smoke alarms.
