Communication Architecture Examples with Modbus SL Hub
Modbus SL Hub Stacked with IFE Server and IFM Interface
Modbus SL hub can be directly stacked with IFE server or IFM interface with the help of stacking accessory (TRV00217) as shown in the following architecture. In this architecture, both 24 Vdc supply and Modbus connection flows via the stacking accessory.

Modbus SL Hub Daisy Chained with IFE Server and IFM Interface
When it is not possible to stack the Modbus SL hubs together with the help of the stacking accessory TRV00217, the Modbus SL hubs can be daisy chained using the terminal block connector, as shown in the following architecture. In this architecture, the IFE server acts as a gateway.

Stacked Modbus SL Hub and IFM Interface, Connected to Panel Server
Modbus SL hub can be connected to the Panel Server via the terminal block connector of the Modbus SL hub as shown in the following architecture. In this architecture, only the Modbus communication network uses the terminal block connector.
