Configuring the device

The Device Details screen allows you to configure the Motion Sensor Switch according to your preferences.
  1. On the Home screen, tap .

  2. Tap Devices > Lights > Motion Switch to locate the Device Details screen.

A

Device Name: Tap to change the name of the device.

Location: Tap to assign the device to any room (such as living room, bedroom, kitchen etc). For more information, refer to Setting the device location.

Motion Detection Sensitivity: Tap to set the sensitivity level of the sensor as per your preference. For more information, refer to Setting the detection sensitivity for detailed information on each option.

Motion Detection Timer: Tap to set the time for how long the light should remain On after motion is detected. For more information, refer to Setting the motion detection timer.

Current Lux: Displays the current Lux value of the light present in the environment measured by the sensor. Lux is a unit of illuminance that measures the amount of visible light present in an area. It helps the sensor determine how bright or dark the environment is.

Lux Level Threshold: Tap to set the threshold value for Lux ranges that determine when the sensor should activate. For more information, refer to Defining Lux settings.

Notify me if motion is detected: Tap the toggle switch to receive notifications when motion is detected.

Identify: Tap to identify the device. The status LED blinks red and the connected light blinks on and off, upon successful identification.
Tap OK when you finish identifying the device.

Delete: Tap to remove the device from the system.

NOTE:
  • Removing the device will also reset the device. After reset, the LED turns amber indicating that the device is ready for pairing.

  • If there is a problem while pairing or resetting the device, refer to Resetting the device.

J

Zigbee Signal Strength Indicator: Zigbee Signal Strength indicator which displays the current signal strength of the device.

  • Good Signal (between 0 & -54dBm)

  • Normal Signal (between -54 & -79dBm)

  • Poor Signal (<-79dBm)

  • No Signal (device is offline)
