Example of an automation

This demonstration shows you how to create an automation to controlling a hot water system when solar production is greater than 2 kW.

TIP: It is mandatory to create two automations. First, turn on the hot water system when the solar production is greater than 2 kW. Second, turn off the hot water system when the solar production is less.
The hot water system will not turn off automatically until you create another automation.

Go to Automation > to create an automation.
To add a condition, tap Add Condition > Device status change > Solar Panel.
Set the production power to 2 kW (A) and the condition as more than (B) and then tap Set.
Read the information and tap OK.
To add an action, tap Then > Add an action > Control a device > Heating. Set device state as On and then tap Set located on the upper right corner.

NOTE: By default, the state is set to Off.
Enter the name of the automation.

TIP: You can choose the cover image that represents your automation by tapping .
Tap Save.Once the automation is saved, it is visible on the Automation tab.
