Configure Computer Response if the Service Fails

In the scenarios where GDBM needs to restart after crashing, by default it does not try to restart after a third failure.

To fix this, you can change the computer’s response if the service fails to continually restart the service. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. In the Start menu, search for Services.

  2. Right-click a GDBM service instance, then choose Properties.

  3. On the Recovery tab, choose “Restart the Service” for all failure scenarios.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Repeat the steps above for all remaining GDBM service instances.
