Map and Single Line Diagram Configuration

The Map view tab has two options to configure a visual overlay of your assets: a geographic map and single line diagram. The map is used to see assets spread over a large geographic area, such as a town or city. The diagram is used to see the layout inside a single site, such as a datacenter or substation.

The Map gives you access to the uploaded geographical map settings you see on the main menu. The Map tab lets you access these settings.

  • Show or hide the map from the main menu with the visibility setting.

  • Select the tile layer for the map.

  • Set the default zoom level, the closest setting, and max tile zoom, the farthest setting. These values create the amount of zoom space to see the assets on the map.

  • Enter the center of the map with the latitude and longitude coordinates.

  • Enable the asset clustering view.

    • Aggregation uses a Switch level to show the amount of zoom, and Origin value to select the source of the cluster groups.

    • Geospatial shows you the physical layout of the number of assets in groups. The clustering level denotes the number assets in the resource group.

The Single Line Diagram (SLD) tab gives you access to the uploaded graphic file (in SVG format) of a specific asset container. The diagram shows the assets in an overhead view where shapes and colors represent the different asset types and risk levels. You can add a new SLD, remove an SLD, or update an existing one. The legend on the diagram is created from the Key, Label, and Hierarchy Node text fields.

The Key and Label fields are unique identifiers for the asset and act as filters to see only selected items on the diagram. New assets can be added to the diagram manually.
