Licenses
The User Management plugin shows the license usage for each XI series app, except ArcFM Web XI, in your tenant.

The License Summary shows you the license use, underuse, and overuse within a specific time frame. You can change the types of licenses seen or change the date range. The bars of the graph show you specific usage for the month highlighted.
Since XI series licensing is handled differently than the ArcFM 10.x series, here’s the typical procedure:
-
We receive a request to deploy a tenant.
-
SE Legal confirms that all contracts are in place.
-
We deploy your tenant with the license counts in place before delivery.
-
It takes a month following tenant deployment for the system to track usage by user license.
-
License usage (known as license file delivery in the ArcFM 10.x series) and XI series app configurations are mutually exclusive. Once we deploy your tenant and add initial license counts (to initiate usage tracking) to your tenant’s plugins, you are provided with installation and configuration details.
-
As your users begin their XI series journey, their usage is tracked retroactively, and license contracts are updated at renewal.
-
License tracking applies only to production tenants. We do not individually track license usage on non-production environments.
-
Reporting periods are provided in annual increments.
-
Licenses in active use for a month are calculated as the maximum number of unique logins for that month. Annual license usage is based on the month with highest active use.
-
You can click on any month to view a list of users by license type. This helps you monitor which users are active in the applications, and attempts to prevent surprises at contract renewal.
