Pairing additional devices

To pair additional SmartTag, you must assign a label to them. It helps to easily identify the additional SmartTag installed for different loads and track the power consumed by them individually.
Follow any one of the procedures to label the additional SmartTag:

Selecting a label type from the available list: You can select a label type from the available list.
Customizing label type: If the available label list is not suitable for your load, you can customize the label type of your choice.

NOTE: Maximum 20 SmartTags can be paired.

To select a label type from the available list:

On the Device Discovery page, tap the SmartTag.
On the Device Configuration page, tap Identify to recognize the additional SmartTag.

A notification window is prompted and the status LED flashes fast in green on the SmartTag.
Tap OK on the notification window when you have finished identifying the SmartTag.
Tap , the label list appears on the Type page.
Choose a label that best represents your SmartTag and tap Save.
Tap (A), enter a name and tap Save.
Tap Done (B).

Customizing label type

On the Device Discovery page, tap the SmartTag.
On the Device Configuration page, tap Identify to recognize the SmartTag.

A notification window is prompted and the status LED flashes fast in green on the SmartTag.
Tap OK on the notification window when you have finished identifying theSmartTag.
Tap , the label list appears on the Type page.
Select Custom.
On the Custom Type page, tap (A) and enter a name.
Choose an icon of your choice (B) and tap Save (C).
In the Device Configuration page, tap Save and then tap Done.

On successful pairing,
- The LED status flashes slow in green for 5 seconds on the SmartTag.
- The paired SmartTag will appear on app’s home screen.
