Pairing the main device - ELKO Wiser Home

On the Home screen, tap

.

TapDevices>

> Energy.

Select SmartTag Energy (A).

TIP: You can also navigate by tapping Control >

> Energy > SmartTag Energy.

The Device Discovery page will search for a minute to display the available SmartTags.

If there is more than one SmartTag is available, select one among them (B).

On theDevice Configuration page, tap Identify to recognize the main SmartTag. This will be the Grid SmartTag measuring the main incomer.

A notification window is prompted and the status LED flashes fast in green on the SmartTag.

Tap OK on the notification window when you have finished identifying the SmartTag.

Tap

(C) to assign a label to the main SmartTag.

The label list appears on the Type page.

Select a label type (D) and tap Save (E).

NOTE: It is recommended to select Gridas a label to represent the main SmartTag.

Once the Grid type is selected, by default the Name is assigned as Main Incomer.

Tap

(F) and select Yes/No if you have solar panels installed.

Yes: Refer to Pairing the device with On Grid solar system.
No: If you do not have solar panels installed. Proceed to step 11.

The power direction will be enabled automatically (H).

Set the Grid Limit (G).

NOTE: Grid limit is the maximum permissible power on the Grid on your contract. It will help to prevent power tripping by shutting down loads in order to keep the power consumption under a defined limit. By default, the grid limit is set to measure in kVA.

Select your grid limit (kVA/A/kW) from the dropdown menu, then tap and enter a value using the dial pad as per your country. The following table displays the default values within the range:

IMPORTANT: You cannot enter a value that is greater or less than the specified range.

Enable the Reverse Direction toggle switch (I), if the power direction is from Home to Grid.

IMPORTANT: Enabling Reverse Direction ensures the power direction is correct.

Tap Save (J).

After you pair the device, a success screen appears with the following options:

+ Add New Device: Tap to continue pairing more devices.
Start Using Your Device: Tap to start using the paired device.

NOTE: The success screen appears only if you are logged in as a Home Owner.

Now, you can see the newly added device on the Control tab under the All and Room tabs.

NOTE: If you only have single SmartTag in the entire Wiser System, the Control page will not be visible. All functions will be accessible through the Home page.

NOTE: You will be notified to enter the tariff after the SmartTag is commissioned, refer to Setting Tariff

NOTE: If you have already configured your tariff, you will be directed to Home screen to view the status of device.
