Overview
Schneider Charge Anti-Tripping Module, when used with a Schneider Charge charging station, functions as an intelligent load management system. It continuously adjusts the charger's power output to the electric vehicle based on the available power in the home.
The load management system determines power availability by comparing the utility power limit with the home's power consumption. This consumption data is measured using a current transformer installed at the bottom of the main circuit breaker.
Communication between the Home Anti-Tripping System and the Schneider Charge charging station is established via power line communication (PLC), eliminating the need for a separate communication cable.
