HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, OR ARC FLASH
When the circuit breaker handle is locked in the (O) OFF position, always use a properly rated voltage
sensing device to confirm that power is off before working on equipment.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

The side rotary handle offers a locking option to prevent the rotary handle from being operated.
The handle can be locked in the O (OFF) position or, in the case of the black side operator, in the I (ON) position.
No setup is required to lock the handle in the O (OFF) position.
Before the handle can be locked in the I (ON) position, the side operator must be dismounted and the physical setup of the handle must be changed. This is usually done at installation. For information about how to set up the handle to be locked in the I (ON), position, see the relevant instruction sheet.
