Recommendations for Optimized Service Life of the UPS

An optimized service life for the Galaxy VXL 500-1250 kW UPS 380/400/415 V can be up to 15 years when the UPS is installed and operated in optimal conditions and serviced and maintained throughout the life of the UPS.

Schneider Electric recommends a preventive maintenance schedule and provides service offerings which include preventive maintenance, service contracts, proactive replacement of wear parts (e.g. fans, air filters, and LED strips), battery replacement services, and power module revitalization services (at periodic interval).

Schneider Electric recommends the following operating conditions:

• 75% mostly linear loads

• Temperature: 17 °C to 27 °C

• Relative humidity: 30-60% non-condensing

• Input voltage total harmonic distortion/Total harmonic distortion (THDI): ≤2%

• Load current total harmonic distortion/Total harmonic distortion (THDU): ≤5%

• Nominal input voltage: ±5%
