Advanced settings

You can view the PowerTag Control output type and states of the contacts/feedback loop used in the system configured during pairing.
IMPORTANT: The option/settings cannot be modified once it is initially set during pairing. If you find that the settings are not correct, we recommend removing the PowerTag Control from the Wiser system and recommissioning it with the correct option/settings.
Refer:
  1. On the Home screen, tap .

  2. Tap Devices > Energy (or the room where PowerTag is assigned) and then tap Advanced settings.

Output type: contactor

A contactor is an electrically-controlled switch used for switching a power circuit. It is commonly used to control electric motors, lighting, heating, capacitor banks, thermal evaporators, pumps, hot water systems, and other electrical loads. Contactor are typically used in applications where frequent make-and-break operations are required. They are designed to handle higher current and voltage levels compared to regular relays.

In advanced settings you can view the following option:

  1. Output type as Contactor.

  2. Normal Condition :

Normally Open: the contacts are opened when the coil is not energized, and they close when the coil is energized.

Normally Close: the contacts are closed when the coil is not energized, and they open when the coil is energized.

Output type: impulse relay

An impulse relay is a type of relay that is designed to switch when an electrical pulse is applied to its coil. It is commonly used in applications where a momentary electrical signal is used to control a circuit. Impulse relays are often used in scenarios such as doorbell systems, control circuits, or any application where a temporary electrical signal needs to trigger a specific action.

In advanced settings you can view the following option:

  1. Output type as Impulse Relay

  2. Feedback Type:

Normally Open: the relay contacts are opened in their resting state. When the relay is energized, these contacts close to indicate the active state.

Normally Close: the relay contacts are closed in their resting state. When the relay is energized, these contacts open to indicate the active state.

  3. Test the impulse relay feedback to check everything is working correctly by turning on the toggle switch for Impulse Relay and wait for few seconds (20 s) for the test to complete.
The App shows the progress of the test.

NOTE: If the impulse test is not successful refer instruction sheet for wiring connection and retry.
