Use Bing Basemaps
Toggle this option on if you want to provide Bing basemaps for your end users. The maps appear when the end user clicks the Select Basemap tool.
Bing Map API Key
If you decide to toggle “Use Bing Basemaps” on, then you need to provide a Bing Maps API Key. Refer to the Microsoft help topic Getting a Bing Maps Key for more information.
Locator Service URL
End users are able to search for an address in Wavepoint XI. For the Address Search to work, you need to supply a locator service URL. We recommend using the following ArcGIS locator service:
https://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer
Geometry Service URL
The Geometry Service URL is used to provide a transformation if the input spatial reference and output spatial reference are different. Without the transformation, trace results are not projected correctly onto the map.
If your company has its own service, paste the URL into this field. Since you manage the service, it might be more reliable and easier to restart if there are issues.
If your company does not have its own Geometry Service URL, we recommend using the following ArcGIS service:
https://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/Utilities/Geometry/GeometryServer
Initial Map Zoom
When the application opens, the map starts at a specified zoom extent. This extent is dictated by an integer value for the Initial Map Zoom (decimal values are not permitted). The minimum is 0 and the maximum is 20. The lower the number, the farther the map is zoomed out upon opening the application. The higher the number, the closer the map is zoomed in.
We recommend starting at 11, and then ask for feedback from your end users.
