Configuring the Daikin Altherma 3 Heat Pump

The Daikin Altherma 3 Heat Pump supports several operating modes that determine how heating and domestic hot water are controlled. These modes must be set correctly for Wiser to control heating effectively.

Recommended Configuration (Daikin Controller):

Installer settings > Overview field settings > C – 07:
- 0 – Leaving Water Temperature (LWT) Mode
- 2 – Ambient Room (AR) Temperature Mode

Installer settings > Overview field settings > 6 – 0D:
- 0 – Reheat only

The Setpoint mode control configuration parameter must be set to Fixed. This is usually the default setting.

IMPORTANT: When using the Ambient Room (AR) mode, set the thermostat to the preferred highest temperature to allow Wiser to manage the heating effectively.

Daikin Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Modes

Reheating Mode	The ON/OFF button in the app activates/de–activates DHW operation.	The set point selected in the Wiser Home app is applied. DHW heats until the set point is reached.	ON = heat to set point OFF = stop.

NOTE:

In Scheduled or Scheduled + Reheating mode, if DHW is ON, any set point change from app stays active only until the next scheduled period begins. After that, the system will follow the schedule set in Daikin’s controller.
Sometimes, the Daikin Onecta Cloud may get deactivated when the Heat Pump is re-powered. For seamless operation, check that the Onecta Cloud is active and reconnect it if necessary. This can be verified either via the system display or through the Daikin Onecta app.
