Configuring the Panasonic Aquarea Heat Pump

The Panasonic Aquarea Heat Pump supports several operating modes that determine how heating and domestic hot water are controlled. These modes must be configured on the Panasonic controller before using it with Wiser. Following are the Heat Pump recommended configurations that can be set on the Panasonic Aquarea Heat Pump:

Installer Setup > System setup > Zone & Sensor

  • Leaving water temperature

  • Ambient room:

    • External: Heat Pump operates based on the external temperature.

    • Internal: Heat Pump operates based on the internal room temperature.

Alternative configuration options

Panasonic Aquarea also supports the following (less recommended) modes:

  • Room Mode

  • Weather Compensation Curve (Water temperature is adjusted automatically based on the outdoor temperature)

  • Fixed Circulation Water Temperature (Water temperature is maintained at a constant value)
