Managing the channel
- On the Control tab, choose the required room.
- Tap
> Room settings (A).
- Tap Channel (B).
- Select the required channel(s) out of the following:
-
Selecting 1 Channel – Standard Installation
Virtual Channel – Heat Pump uses the Virtual Channel Heat Pump
-
When the home uses a single heating architecture, where rooms are heated directly by the Heat Pump, and no motorised valve needs to be controlled.
-
In this setup, assign the Virtual Channel Heat Pump to every room that requires heating.
-
Selecting this channel ensures the Heat Pump acts as the heating source for those rooms.
-
Make sure the Aidoo is commissioned first. The channel will not be visible until commissioning is complete.
-
If a room also uses a motorised valve (for example, radiators in mixed systems), follow the instructions in the Selecting 2 Channels section.

-
Selecting 2 Channels – Managing Architectures with a Motorised Valve
IMPORTANT: The second channel is currently in beta testing and may cause some limitations. For standard installations, we recommend using only one channel per room.In a two zone architecture, where some radiators need to be controlled by a motorised valve, you do need to allocate two heating channels to those rooms:
-
Channel 1 or Channel 3 to control the motorised valve for the radiator zone.
-
Virtual Channel Heat Pump to call for heat from the Heat Pump.
This ensures coordination between the heating zones so that:
-
UFH and radiators can operate independently.
-
The Heat Pump supplies heat when either zone calls for it.
-
-
None - You can select this option, if the room does not need to be heated.
NOTE: If you have a Wiser HubR 1 channel, you will only see channel 1. If you have a Wiser HubR 3 channel, you will see channels 1 and 3. -
