Manual Program

When a user creates a scenario, a program is created to show batches of asset categories using different intervention types. The manual program lets the user select the asset category from a list to make the program unique.

To create the program:

1. From the scenario window, click New Program > Manual Program.

2. Under Configuration, make sure Draft is selected.

3. To see the list of Asset Categories, click New intervention batch.

4. From the Asset Category menu, select the applicable categories for this intervention.

   The user can select as many categories as desired from the list. Each category, or groups of categories, is listed as a line item under Interventions.

5. Select the pre-defined intervention type for that category, or group of categories, then at the end of the row, click Save.

   

   The intervention type menu options can differ for each asset category selected and only the common options are enabled.

   

6. Create as many intervention batches as required to fulfill the program parameters and click Start processing.

   

When the program processing is complete, you see a Program Summary. The widget blocks include the:

• Number of maintained assets

• Total preventive maintenance cost in local currency. Listing the different maintenance expenditures based on the scenario constraints

• Total reduced monetized risk the first year in local currency.

• Risk reduced per local currency spent.

• Financial cost reduction in local currency.

• Safety cost reduction in local currency.

• Environmental cost reduction in local currency.

• Network cost reduction in local currency.

• The total annual monetized risk is displayed in local currency.

  • Current statement: This risk matrix describes the current risk for the assets included in the program.

  • Projected statement for the scenario: this risk matrix describes the projected risk for the assets included in the program at the end of the scenario.

  • Projected statement run to failure: this risk matrix describes the projected risk for the assets included in the program if no action is taken.

• Selected asset interventions. This list includes information about the assets included in the program, such as Asset ID, Asset category, Intervention cost, Risk reduction, and others.

  The list of assets for further analysis can be downloaded from the Export menu.
