Workflows

The Workflow plugin enables configuration of dynamic workflows for specialized business processes in and between ArcFM applications and 3rd party systems. A dynamic workflow contains a series of "assignments" linked together with business logic to accomplish a job. An "assignment type" defines a specific type of task for a user to accomplish within the greater workflow. For example, a Field Assignment is the a mobile user's task of collecting markup. When the user completes the markup task, the dynamic workflow advances the job to the next assignment.

The ArcFM Mobile product includes default dynamic workflows and assignment types. The default markup workflow contains a Field Assignment for the mobile user followed by an Enterprise Assignment for the desktop GIS editor. An Approval assignment type is provided with the product, but not included in the default markup job workflow.

This plugin is your control center for:

Viewing the workflow path of a design, task, markup, or other job. These can be in progress or complete.
Troubleshooting a workflow error.
Modifying existing workflow paths, states, and requirements.
Creating new Assignment Types to incorporate into a dynamic workflow.
Creating and running test cases to validate workflow expectations.
