Solution

The unit does not function at all or the lighting does not turn on.

  • No mains power supplied

  • Incorrect wiring

  • The ambient light level is too high

  • Malfunctioned load

  • Check or switch on the power.

  • Check the wiring, refer to wiring diagrams.

  • Reset the LUX value to be higher than the ambient light level.

  • Replace with new load.

Lighting does not turn off

  • TIME set too long

  • False trigger

  • Incorrect wiring

  • Adjust TIME value shorter.

  • Ensure sensor is away from heat source such as air-conditioner, electric fan, heater or highly reflective surface.

  • Ensure there are no swaying objects within the detection range.

  • Check that the load is not wired directly to the power supply.

Lighting turns on and off Quickly

  • TIME set too short

  • False trigger

  • Wrong modes (Short pulse mode or Test mode)

  • Ensure sensor is away from heat source such as air-conditioner, electric fan, heater or highly reflective surface.

  • Ensure there are no swaying objects within the detection range.

  • Ensure sensor is not set to Short Pulse mode or Test mode.

Unexpected or False Trigger

  • Some object cause unexpected trigger.

  • Other wireless signals affect the device.

  • Ensure sensor is away from heat source such as air-conditioner, electric fan, heater or highly reflective surface.

  • Ensure there are no swaying objects within the detection range.

  • Ensure the device is away from wireless signal sources like Hub, Wi-Fi® device, base-station.

The motion is detected but fails to trigger the load to turn ON.

  • The micro module is not paired to the motion sensor.

  • The micro module is far away from the device or there is a thick wall in between the device and the micro module.

  • Make sure the Micro module and the motion sensor are paired correctly. Refer to Pairing Micro Module with Motion Sensor.

  • Make sure that there is no more than a 20 meter distance between the micro module and motion sensor after passing through a single 25 cm concrete wall.

In the app No Signal appears for the motion sensor.

  • Device is powered off.

  • Wiser hub is too far from the motion sensor.

  • Make sure that the motion sensor is powered on.

  • Move the Wiser hub closer to the motion sensor.

  • Restart the motion sensor.

  • displayed in the Wiser Home app.

  • [ERRORCODE]: Your <Device Name> is currently overheated. The <load type> is currently turned off. This will become active when the motion sensor moderates it’s temperature. – Displayed in the Wiser Home app.
