Updating Wiser Hub^R (1^st Generation) Firmware

• Wiser Hub 2^nd Generation and Wiser Hub^R 2^nd Generation update automatically when connected to the internet.

• Wiser Hub^R (1^st Generation) requires a manual firmware update.

Follow the instruction to update the firmware on Wiser Hub^R (1^st Generation):

1. When an update is available, the app will notify you in the following ways:

   • A banner appears at the top of the Home screen and Control screen.

     

   • An Update button appears under the Firmware version in the Home Screen > > Device details screen.

     

   Tap the banner or Updatebutton to begin the firmware update process.

2. Tap Start the update. Read the information provided in the app.

   

3. Put the hub in setup-mode as guided in the app, then tap Next.

   

4. Navigate to your smartphone’s Wi-Fi^® settings or tap Open Wi-Fi Settings from the app.

   

5. Connect to the Wi-Fi^® network named Wiser, then return to the app to continue the connection process.

   

6. Tap Upload the Firmware update to begin uploading the firmware to the hub^R. Follow the on-screen instructions.

   

7. Tap Done once the firmware is successfully updated.
