Output Transformer Voltage Compensation

It is possible to compensate for an output transformer and balance the output voltage drop (0-3%). The output transformer voltage compensation works without having the UPS to measure the voltage on the secondary side of the transformer.

  1. At 0% load you must measure the voltage on the secondary side of the transformer, and the output voltage of the UPS is then manually adjusted via the Voltage compensation (%) setting to offset compensation if necessary.

  2. Then load must be applied on the UPS. You must measure the voltage on the secondary side of the transformer again, and the output voltage of the UPS must be adjusted via the Transformer voltage compensation (%) setting to compensate for the voltage drop in the transformer.

The voltage compensation required at the specific load is used to make an automatic linear output voltage adjustment on the UPS according to the output load percentage.
