Relate Conductor/Cable to Conduit

Using Conduit Manager involves relating conductors (or fiber cable, etc.) to a conduit system, then specifying which duct or trench the conductor should occupy. To better understand the steps that make this happen, we will use an example of conductor and duct. The most efficient workflow is with conductor and conduit already sketched in the map. If the duct already exists, the ArcFM Attribute Editor can associate conductor with conduit that then automatically creates the conductor-to-conduit relationship.

There are two steps to this process. Create Duct in Conduit explains how to create the duct. If the duct already exists, skip to Associate Conductor to Duct, which explains how to associate the conductor to the duct.
