Remove Other Items from Selection
Use Remove Other Items From Selection to keep only the
selected features and remove all other features listed in the Selection
tab of the Attribute Editor. This tool can be helpful when selecting
a large number of features. The tool does not delete features from
the map.
- Select features in the Selection tab that you want to keep selected.
- Right-click any one of the selected features.

Select Remove Other Items From Selection to remove all
non-selected features.

The Selection tab will update and show only the features
you had selected. If you selected features from multiple layers, by
default the remaining layers will display collapsed in the Selection
tab. Layers will be removed from the Selection tab display if not
features were selected within them before running the tool.
