AMI Service

Installation Steps – AMI Service Installation and Configuration

This is an optional module and not required to run RxIF. However, RxIF Server is required before installing AMI Service.

  1. Run the RxIF.AmiService_####_Release installer. In the Welcome dialog, click Next.
TIP: The #### in the installer name represents the release number. For example, if you are installing 10.6.1b, the installer name is RxIF.AmiService_1061b_Release, and the 10.8.1 installer name is RxIF.AmiService_1081_Release.
  2. Type the User ID and password of a domain or local user that will run the service. It must be a valid Responder user. Then click Next.

  3. Choose a database and click Next.
  4. Type the credentials for the database and click Next.
  5. Specify the MSMQ Server (e.g., localhost, machinename@domain.com) and click Next.
  6. Specify the Local Time Zone (US/Mountain, US/) and click Next.
  7. Specify the AMI Events Configuration and click Next.

  8. If ArcFM is installed, the same install location is used. Otherwise, ensure that the location is set to C:\Program Files (x86)\Miner and Miner\ or use the Browse button to select it, and click Next.
  9. Start the installation by clicking the Install button.
The installation completes and the files are deployed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Miner and Miner\Responder\Integration\Ami Service.
