Create and Send Markups

Based on the selected operational map and the type of markup to be performed, all applicable markup types are available in the upper right of the app.

Click the name of the markup type you need for the current session.

The following is an example of the markup toolbar, which is defined for the current operational map, that is displayed after tapping Markups with Attributes in the image above:

To send the current markups, click the Send button. Click Yes or No to send the markups or to abort the send. The markups turn transparent in the map.

TIP: After you click the send button, the markups are automatically sent for review. The markups remain transparent in the map until they are approved and completed in ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro. Once the markups are completed, they are automatically removed from ArcFM Mobile. If your device is offline when you send the session, the app automatically sends the markups once it detects an internet connection.
To view the markups in ArcFM, click the Refresh button on the ArcFM Markups toolbar then view and/or zoom.
