Launch and Log In

Initial Log In

1. Double click (desktop PC) or tap (mobile device) the application icon to launch the login screen.

   

2. Type your organization name, which the is tenant name provided by your administrator.

3. Choose a login method. The options vary based upon your organization’s needs.

   

   You might be presented with another login choice screen, or one that prompts you for credentials, depending upon which login method your organization has chosen. Again, the screens presented to you depend completely upon the authentication methods chosen by your company.

4. Enter your username and password.

A spinner displays until the map appears.

Subsequent Log Ins

Next time you access the app, you are logged in automatically. The app remembers your login credentials and attempts to renew the session.

If the app cannot reconcile the previous session, or if the app has been idle or closed for a given time, you are presented again with the login methods mentioned above.

Federated Services

If your organization uses federated services (which essentially gives you single sign-on access to systems and applications across your organization) for your operational maps, be sure to log in to the Mobile app as a Portal for ArcGIS user who has permissions to the map services that you need to access. The administrator who provided you with the tenant name for step #2 above knows if your organization uses federated services.
