Interpreting Gas Trace Results

Let's take a closer look at the trace results.

These are the calculated results of the isolation trace, including the number of affected customers in the isolation area, the operating pressures present in the isolation area, the number of open valves isolating the area, and the number of closed valves within the isolation area.

To view a particular valve in the trace, start by expanding the desired valve type. The images below show each of the expanded sections for our example trace. When either of them is expanded, the listed items are also represented visually on the map with markers, similar to the markers displayed for Search and Identify results.

Double-click any valve record or highlight it and click the View button to display details about the valve. Alternatively, you can click a marker on the map to view details about the valve .
